The treehouse is
constructed just like a real house, only higher. It was built
with quality cedar siding that weathers naturally with no
maintenance, sturdy floor joists and stud structure, and a shingled
roof. The built-in bunks and cabinets are cedar too,
with brass hardware. The windows are double hung brown
aluminum storms with screens. It also has a secure deadbolt lock and a battery
operated security alarm.
The solar collector
transmits electricity to the 12 volt deep cycle battery
that powers a switch operated ceiling light and cigarette
lighter socket outlets. Any 12 volt device --
TV, laptop, video game, fan, light -- can be plugged into the
outlets.
